Well, another step closer....

"President Bush, keeping his election-year focus on national security, is to sign a bill into law on Tuesday that allows tough interrogation and prosecution of terrorism suspects.

The Military Commissions Act of 2006 sets standards for interrogating suspects, but through a complex set of rules that human rights groups say could allow harsh techniques bordering on torture, such as sleep deprivation and induced hypothermia.

With Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales looking on, Bush is to sign the bill which was negotiated in September after senior Republicans rebelled against the president's plan and forced concessions from him.

The new law means Bush can continue a secret CIA program for interrogating terrorism suspects whom he believes have vital information that could thwart a plot against America."

So now any terror SUSPECT can be interrrogated "harshly" and even secretly jailed - with no Constitutional rights whatsoever.

Did you know that YOU are a potential terrorist? The government certainly thinks so. Any of us could be a potential terrorist. It all became crystal clear to me on a recent flight I took. I was going through the "security" lines when a particular ass-holish TSA employee was harassing the people in line. I was not in a particular patient mood and spoke up "come on man, lighten up, do we look like the people that took down the towers" - yes I know, not particularly Politically Correct you may think, but hey, we all know the reality of the profile of the people that did it. Anyhooo, Mr Asshole TSA looked me dead in the eye and said, "oh yeah! Have you ever heard of Timothy McVeigh?!"

Blam, it hit me! That's how these yucks are being trained...we ALL could be potential terrorists...so treat everyone with SUSPICION. Report any and all suspicious activity, it iz your duty!

Yeah, lets keep the Homeland "Security" ACT in place so they can continue to monitor any and all communications of ANY PERSON in these United States...because WE ALL ARE POTENTIAL TERRORISTS. And throw anyone of suspicion in jail and throw away the key!
